50 Best Places to Work in 2015: The Winners, The Losers, The Pack

Want to know what the best places to work in the U.S. are come year 2015?

Glassdoor's got you covered in its annual Glassdoor’s Employee Choice Awards Top 50 Best Places to Work.

Glassdoor.com is a career community that aims to change the way people find jobs, and companies recruit top talent.

It has announced their seventh annual Employees' Choice Awards, honoring the Best Places to Work across the U.S. and the UK.

Winners were determined by the people who know these companies best — their employees.

Google takes the first place this year, up from being No. 8 in 2014 - once again based solely on employee feedback.

Judging by the images below (from Glassdoor Google page), I don't blame them...

This year, Glassdoor also surveyed British employees to create the top 25 best places to work in the UK – a list that also ranked Google as No. 1.

Notice that, with exception of Google, tech companies were pushed down the list by other industries, compared to 2014 and the previous years.

Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, while in the top 5 last year, didn't even make it in the top ten.

Facebook is #13 (down from #5 in 2014), LinkedIn is #23 (down from #3 in 2014), and Twitter... well, Twitter is nowhere to be found in the top 50! (down from #2 in 2014).

Here's a handy infographic of the top 25 positions from MarketingLand.com; the full 50 list can be found at this link.

And here's your list of Best Small & Medium Companies to Work For in 2015 with The Motley Fool leading the pack.

Some of these companies do sound pretty incredible... Time to get a 9 to 5?
